Ely, UK | Riverfront Pencil Drawing

 This is my coloured pencil drawing of Ely, UK’s riverfront and harbour. I have included many textures and objects and also made it realistic using tone and other shading techniques.

The image shows; a bridge, independent businesses, historic buildings, Great River Ouse/the canal, boats and water activities, nature.

In addition to these elements, I have made sure to add detail to as many areas as possible, including the natural structures.

I think this is a good way of relating to my ‘Humans and the Environment’ theme for Year 13 as it shows the relationship between nature and the people;
