London360 View (Watercolour and fineliner) | Progress January 12th, 2020

For my personal investigation for Y13, I am doing a 360 degree, panoramic perspective of London, UK, which will be done with watercolour and fine liner, in order to try and show skill in a variety of areas.

I am basing the pieces off of the pictures I took when we as a class took the train to London in January 2020 and visited a number of galleries - the place that these images were taken is the rooftop bar on the Tate Modern, which is 213 feet above the ground.

I will be using 3 (A2) pieces of paper in order to create the artwork, which will wrap around the walls of my bay. Sound effects will be included in order to make the "city" feel more immersive and real - these, like the images the art is based on, will also be first hand.

As of January 12th, 2020, I have completed 1/3 pieces and am working on the second one currently, which should take a couple of weeks to be completed. The entire project should be done by the end of February.

Here is the first piece -
